Choosing Quality Child Care

Solano Family & Children’s Services provides FREE child care information and referrals. Our Goal is to promote the healthy growth, care and development of children by educating families about the steps to choosing quality child care Acrobat Reader Required.

A successful child care arrangement requires special effort between families and caregivers.

Our Resource & Referral counselors can help you to begin a personalized search for care by asking you some questions that will help narrow down your search. You may choose to begin that search by one of the following methods.

  • Complete our referral request form. We will contact you with the information.
  • Call us during our business hours of Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM AND Tuesday from Noon to 5:00 PM at (707) 863-3950, extension #709.

OUR MISSION:

The purpose of this agency is to promote and advocate for the well-being of children and families in Solano County by providing Subsidized Child Care, Resources and Referrals, Provider/Parent Training and Education, the Child Care Food Program and Community Outreach to address the community’s diverse and ever changing needs.
